"HIPFUNK D" was this song's working title but Laroo and Gaasterland decided to keep it. It starts as a funky synth bass line and evolves into a house groove (perhaps pre-garage) with Saskia's muted improv over Gaasterland's evolving synths. She follows with a compelling hook line drop, for further blowing with her muted horn. The groove twice breaks off and switches to a jazz feel featuring alto saxophone master Benjamin Herman spattering bebop lines over Saskia's walking bass.
