"JAZZPARTY" begins with acoustic guitar chucks, followed by Saskia's contemporary alto sax riff and upright bass line based on the whole-tone scale, accompanied by an acoustic drum beat. Vocalist extraordinaire Johnny Kelvin soon eases in with improvised comments. The beat then switches to heavy, groovy funk ushering in his sung improvised riffs and lines, "It's a Jazz Party". Saskia improvises on muted horn alongside Johnny's vocals as the feel toggles between jazz, a spacious signature Rob Gaasterland interlude, and always back to the funk.
